WHY VISIT
MADINAH FIRST?
There is often a debate about whether it’s better to visit Madinah or Makkah first. Both options have their advantages, but here are some reasons why we believe starting with Madinah may be a better choice:

Smoother Arrival: Arriving at Madinah Airport is typically easier and less hectic than Jeddah Airport, as it is less crowded.

Ihram Convenience: When going to Madinah first, you don’t need to worry about wearing Ihram on the plane. In contrast, if you go to Makkah first, you must don Ihram before landing in Jeddah.

Shorter Airport Transfers: The journey from Madinah Airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes, whereas the drive from Jeddah to Makkah often takes at least two hours.

Gradual Acclimatisation: Spending time in Madinah allows you to acclimatise and ease into the pilgrimage experience before the intensity of the Hajj rites begins.

Preparation Time: The peaceful days in Madinah can be used for lectures and preparation for Umrah and the Hajj rituals, as opposed to performing Umrah immediately upon arriving in Makkah.

Comfortable Travel to Makkah: Travelling from Madinah to Makkah by the Haramain High-Speed Train is a convenient and comfortable journey. This ensures you arrive refreshed and ready to perform Umrah, unlike performing it after a long international flight and a lengthy drive.

MAJAR AL-KABSH
CAMP IN MINA
A stones throw away.
The packages that we will be supporting will all include Mina accommodation in the exclusive Majar Al-Kabsh area, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Jamarat, making stoning very easy, especially for the elderly, infirm and sick. This is all the more important, given the fact that the weather will be very hot. The vast majority of pilgrims form the UK will stay in the muaisim camp which is almost an hours walk away from the Jamarat, making the stoning ritual much more challenging.
During the days of the rites of Hajj, the majority of time will be spent in the tents in Mina. You will also be required to go to the Jamarat to perform the stoning almost everyday – therefore the location of the tents is one of the important aspects of any Hajj package.
In the tents in Mina you will be provided with air-conditioning, sofa beds, blankets, pillows, and a 24 hours supply of hot and cold drinks, and 3 meals a day.
MUAISIM
CAMP IN MINA
A Bit Further Away.
The packages we will be supporting for Hajj 2025 will also include Mina accommodation at the Muaisim Camp, which is located around a 45-minute walk from the Jamarat.
At Muaisim Camp, you will enjoy air-conditioned tents, comfortable bedding, pillows, and blankets, along with a 24-hour supply of hot and cold drinks and three meals a day, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay.
TRAINS
The journey between Madinah and Makkah will be made aboard the new Haramain High-Speed Train.
What can take 6-8 hours by coach, takes just 2.5 hours by train. This modern and efficient mode of travel ensures you arrive in Makkah refreshed and ready to perform your Umrah. To further enhance your convenience, your luggage will be transported separately by truck, allowing you to travel without the burden of carrying suitcases.
During the days of the Hajj rites, pilgrims staying at Majar Al-Kabsh will travel on the Masha’ir Metro, a groundbreaking transportation system connecting Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. This exclusive service ensures seamless and efficient transfers between the sacred Hajj sites. For pilgrims at Muaisim Camp, transportation will be provided by air-conditioned coaches, offering comfort and convenience while traveling between the Hajj sites.
SHIFTING AND
NON-SHIFTING
On all of our packages, pilgrims will be accommodated at their respective hotels close to the Haram in Makkah. However, depending on which package you are booked onto you will either check out from your Makkah hotel on the 6th/7th of Dhul Hijjah, this is termed ‘shifting’, or you will retain the hotel throughout the days of the Hajj rites, this is referred to as ‘non-shifting’.
To cater for all requirements will be be offering both ‘shifting’ and ‘non-shifting’ options. Based on our long experience in organising Hajj packages, we believe that both types of packages offer some unique benefits.
Shifting – Our shifting packages offer a unique experience that goes beyond the typical understanding of such packages. All of our shifting groups, whether staying at Majar Al-Kabsh or Muaisim Camp, will have access to our building in Shisha. Located just a 20-minute walk from the Jamarat, the Shisha building provides easy access to additional facilities during your time in Mina. While the facilities in Shisha are basic, the key benefit is the convenience of being able to use the building whenever needed during your 5-6 day stay. This includes access to bathroom facilities, a place to freshen up, and an opportunity to rest. Given that Mina facilities are shared, the Shisha building serves as an excellent alternative, offering added comfort and convenience.
Non-Shifting – Non-Shifting package will allow you to have access to your luxury hotel close to the Haram throughout your Makkah stay. On the 8th Dhul-Hijjah, you will not check-out of the hotel – you will have access to this hotel throughout the 6 days of the Hajj rites and you will be able to come back to the hotel whenever you wish. In addition on 10th Dhul-Hijjah when you return to Makkah to perform Tawaf Al-Ifadah you will be able to relax in the hotel and use the facilities. Please note that whilst travelling between Mina and the hotel expect heavy traffic. On the non-shifting package you will not have access to the Shisha building.
